Eufy X10 Pro omni Review

Perfection Has a Price Tag

I don’t have any particular complaints about the Eufy G30 Hybrid robot vacuum I’m currently using. However, with the robot vacuum industry buzzing with new features lately, and with an Amazon sale coinciding, I couldn’t resist buying one to try out. So I purchased Anker’s premium model with mopping capabilities, the Eufy X10 Pro omni, and I’m here to share my experience.

Currently Using the Eufy G30 Hybrid

If you’re asking, “Don’t you already have a robot vacuum?” you’re right. We have the Eufy G30 Hybrid at home, and honestly, I’m using it without any complaints.

It connects to WiFi and integrates with Google Home, eliminating the need for a remote control. It cleans efficiently without failures and doesn’t bump into walls. It also does mapping and can perform light mopping when you attach a mop pad.

Honestly, this is more than sufficient—I’d even go as far as to say “this is the best.”

Experience Is the Edge

However, the robot vacuum industry is growing incredibly fast with new features pouring in:

  • Automatic dust collection systems (only need emptying every few months)
  • Automatic mopping functionality
  • Models that incorporate both features

For example: ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 OMNI – which even supports automatic mop cleaning.

These features make you think, “Wow, they’ve really advanced a lot.” That’s why during this Amazon sale, I purchased the Eufy X10 Pro omni with automatic mopping for 74,800 yen. Even with the discount, it’s still expensive.

Complete, Capable, and Clean

After using it for several months, my honest impression is simply: “This thing is really smart.”

It has a camera for object recognition and automatically avoids obstacles. Of course, it integrates with Google Home and Alexa for voice control.

  • Ability to set no-go zones
  • Options to configure mopping, suction power, and water usage
  • Possibility to set these configurations separately for each room

The dustbin is quite spacious, lasting about two weeks before needing to be emptied.

It’s reached a point where it’s hard to imagine what more could be added—it’s essentially a complete robot vacuum.

The Mopping Finish is Impressive

If you ask about the core mopping function, it was impressive. The floor is left with a really smooth finish. It feels great to leave home after cleaning and come back to find everything spotless.

  • Automatically supplies water to the mop before cleaning
  • Automatically washes the mop after cleaning
  • Dries with 40°C air

Even after months of use, the mop doesn’t smell. It’s completely automatic and truly remarkable.

For those seeking perfect cleaning, it’s worth buying during a sale period.

Too Perfect to the Point of Excess

Would I recommend it to others? Well… it’s a bit ambiguous.

That’s because this level of perfect cleaning is honestly unnecessary.

Looking back, think about how many times you’ve mopped in your life. In my case, I’ve only mopped when I’ve spilled something.

Usually, vacuuming dust is sufficient. Without mopping, the G30 Hybrid achieves about an 80% cleaning finish.

Of course, the Eufy X10 Pro omni’s mopping is 100%. It’s impressive. But I think spending an extra 50,000 yen to gain that 20% is inefficient.

Plus, the G30 Hybrid can do simple mopping too. This alone is enough to feel the effect.

So the Eufy X10 Pro omni gives the impression of being a luxury item for those who have a lot of money or are extremely sensitive to dust. It’s not a necessity.

The Eufy X10 Pro Station is Powerful, But It Takes Up Space

And the Eufy X10 Pro station is too big.

While it’s unavoidable as it needs to store water and wastewater, it takes up a lot of space.

The Eufy G30 Hybrid doesn’t have a station, so it could fit in tight spaces under the bed, but that’s impossible with the Eufy X10 Pro omni.

You need to secure dedicated installation space for the Eufy X10 Pro omni. This requires preparation.

Nice to Have, But Not Essential

As mentioned above, mopping is excessive, and even if you think “Should I get a model with just automatic dust collection?”, it’s not actually that appealing.

This is because dust doesn’t accumulate that much, and emptying the dustbin isn’t that cumbersome.

Regular robot vacuums come with fairly generous dustbins, and even with daily cleaning, they last about two weeks.

Even if emptying changes from once every two weeks to once every two months, would that really make much difference? Honestly, not much.

The Eufy G30 Hybrid : Good Enough for the Majority

Personally, the Eufy G30 Hybrid is sufficient. So I plan to send the Eufy X10 Pro omni to my new house in the countryside, and continue using the Eufy G30 Hybrid in my office.

For most people’s lives, the Eufy G30 Hybrid is enough. The reality is that spending around 20,000 yen is perfectly satisfactory without needing to spend 70,000 yen even at sale price.

Of course, as a premium model, the Eufy X10 Pro omni offers:

  • Mopping functionality
  • Automatic mop cleaning
  • Room-specific customization

If these features appeal to you, then get the Eufy X10 Pro omni. But they didn’t appeal to me.

Anker Comes With a 2-Year Warranty

While ECOVACS series is popular these days when it comes to robot vacuums, I specifically chose Anker because of reliability.

I’ve used various Anker products, and while it’s disappointing that prices have increased lately, the quality is trustworthy.

Above all, Anker’s strength is its 2-year natural failure warranty. Their customer service is so reliable that they’ll send a new product without questioning conditions when you contact them.

The more expensive the product, the more important the warranty becomes. That’s why I chose Anker.

Of course, there probably isn’t much difference between premium models from any brand, and it’s not that ECOVACS has poor warranty coverage, but ultimately, people tend to choose what they can trust. I hope this information is helpful.
